How to remove malware.

This is the best way I have seen to remove malware. Especially Win Antivirus 2008 and other fake Anti-Virus software.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
• Sybot Search and Destroy

1. Download Malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and install it.

2. 

   Update Malwarebytes.
   
   Click on the update tab and click the "check for updates" button. After it is updated, it may ask to reinstall. Just follow directions and restart the program after the install finishes.

3. 

   Perform a full scan with Malwarebytes.
   
   Clik on the Scanner tab and put a mark beside "Perform full scan" and then click the scan buton.

4. 

   Choose drives to scan and click "Start Scan".
   
   All your hard drives are selected by default, so all you need to do is click "start scan".

5. Wait for the scan to complete and review the items found. Click on the button to remove selected items. After they are removed, it might want you to reboot. Let your system reboot and Win Antivirus 2008 will likely be gone. Do the next steps to be sure your system is free of malware.

6. Download and install SpyBot from http://www.spybot.com

7. Scan your system with SpyBot and let it remove anything it finds. It might want to do another scan after restarting your computer. Go ahead and restart and scan again.

8. Go to http://onecare.live.com/scan and do a protection scan on your system.

9. Repeat step 8 until it says your system is clean.
