How to Get rid of Bats in your house

If you have bats in your house please follow these instructions and be very careful.

Things You'll Need:

• Moth balls/flakes
• Gloves
• Thick clothing

1. 
   Attic Vent

   Find out where the bats are entering your home. The most common point of entry is the vents to your attic. Check for holes in the screens to your vents.

2. Use moth balls or flakes in the areas with the pests and the areas where the bats may have entered into your home. This will keep bats away and force the bats out of your home.

3. At night open entry points so the bats can leave your home, turn on a light or headlights of a car outside to lure the bats out after the bugs that are attracted to light, then screen up the vents with a thick screen or a metal mesh screen to keep the bats out.

Tips & Warnings

• Wear gloves
• Wear thick clothing
• Keep a phone handy in case someone is bit
• Never work alone when getting rid of bats, its always good to have someone there for safety!
