Things You'll Need:
- 6 tart juicy apples
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cup whipping cream

Step 1
Core and peel apples.
Cut each into eighths. -
Step 2
In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Spread the apples on the butter, cover tightly and cook for 10 minutes. -
Step 3
Uncover.
Sprinkle apples with brown sugar. Cover and cook for 10 minutes more.
Uncover. Stir apples gently and cook for 10 minutes longer or until apples are soft.
Serve warm with whipped cream.
