How to Make Scallop Potatoes

Scallop potatoes are a great side dish for most meals. They are not hard to make and are very filling. Even children enjoy potato dishes! Sever these scallop potatoes at your next family get together. Does this Spark an idea?

  • 8 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 stick of butter
  • Flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 8 x 10 baking pan
  • Knife
  • Measuring cup

Instructions

      Get all ingredients and cooking implements together. Make sure you have enough working space. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

      Cut and peel potatoes, and slice the onion. Place the potatoes on the bottom of the baking pan. Then add the onion slices on top.

      Melt the stick of butter in the microwave and then pour over top of potatoes and onion.

      Sprinkle flour on top.

      Add the milk to the mixture. The pan should be half full after the milk is added. Use a little more or less milk depending.

      Cook at 350 degrees until potatoes are soft and tender. Then serve and enjoy.
