You had a good time, but now you just want to go home. Here are simple tips to make a graceful exit.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • ease
  • relax attitude
  • tired feet
  1. Step 1

Say good bye to the Host. Whatever you do, let your party host know that you're leaving.
If it's a small party like a dinner party, let her know quietly.

  2. Step 2
    See you later!

Do it quietly. The best way to make your exit is swift and peaceful. Have your hugs away from all the other guests. If it's a huge party, and you can't hunt her down for "good byes", email or text your host a thank you note, the following day.

  3. Step 3
    cab it!

Sit or Stand close to the exit. Try to make your way to the exit, ONLY ten to five minutes before leaving the party. Please don't spend the party thinking how you have to leave early. Enjoy yourself.

  4. Step 4
    Bye for now.

Enjoy and Smile. The last moments of a party should be pleasant and joyous ones. It's best not to make a scene or make excuses on why you have to leave. Besides, stepping out with a smile after you hug your host good bye, is all you need. Cheers!
