Things You'll Need:
- flank or chuck steak (1.5 lbs.)
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 t. grated lemon peel
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 t. salt
- 2 T. soy sauce
- 1/2 T. butter
- 2 T. sugar
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 1 small can of mushrooms, drained

Step 1
Trim steak. Score steak with criss-cross pattern on both sides.
In a glass casserole dish, scatter half of the onions. Put the steak on the onions. Cover the meat with the rest of the onions. -
Step 2
Combine the lemon peel, lemon juice, salt, pepper, sugar, and soy sauce. Pour over the meat, cover, and refrigerate for 4-6 hours (or longer). Turn occasionally.

Grill or broil until cooked. Saute mushrooms in butter. Serve.
Great with a salad or other kind of vegetable and a baked potato!
