Here are a couple of ideas for storing your off season clothing.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • suitcase
  • breathable comforter bag
  • flat plastic storage bin
  1. Step 1

Put the clothes in a suitcase you are not using. You are storing them anyway so you might as well get use out of the space they are taking up. Most suitcases will fit under your bed. Label the contents on a luggage tag.

  2. Step 2

You can get breathable comforter bags. These are large and will hold a tremendous amount of clothing. These can also fit under your bed.

  3. Step 3

Large flat plastic storage totes are perfect for storing off season clothes because you can see what is inside if you buy the clear variety. Another plus is that they can be stored under your bed also or stacked on top of each other in a closet.

  4. Step 4

This is not a pretty solution but still works because it is for short term storage. Put the clothes in trash sacks and label their contents with a permanent magic marker on the outside.

Tips & Warnings
  • It is not good for clothing to be stored in plastic bags for long periods of time. The clothes cannot breath.
