Instructions
Things You'll Need:
- 1/2 cup Crisco shortening
- 1 stick of margarine (softened, not melted)
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract (preferably the clear kind)
- 3 tablespoons of flour (you may substitute a gluten free version if you are celiac)
- a dash of salt
- 1/2 cup of warm milk
- Mixer
- Mixing bowl

Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Step 2
Beat 8-10 minutes until fluffy, scraping down periodically to make sure all ingredients get incorporated.

Step 3
Add frosting to your cooled cake layers.
