London Broil is an easy dish to make, especially in a slow cooker.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 lbs. flank steak
  • marinade ingredients:
  • 4 largeminced garlic cloves
  • 4 TBLS balsamic vinegar
  • 2 TBLS Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp thyme flakes
  • 1 tsp basil flakes
  • 3/4 cup virgin olive oil
  1. Step 1

Mix together all of the ingredients for the marinade in a large bowl.

  2. Step 2

Set the beef in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the steak. Seal the bag, and place it in a large pan. Put the pan in the refrigerator and let the beef marinade for 24 hours. Turn the bag a couple of times during the 24 hours to ensure that all parts of the steak are marinated.

  3. Step 3

Place in a slow cooker and pour some marinade over the steak. Set heat on medium and cook for 8 to 10 hours.

  4. Step 4

For variation, you can add potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans, green or red peppers, onions, cream of mushroom soup.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use any marinade recipe you like, or you can add your favorite ingredients to the marinade. You must use the olive oil, but feel free to experiment with the other ingredients.
  • Get a good piece of beef. Your final result will only be as good as the cut of the beef. Don't cut corners on your beef selection.
