When autumn's chill creeps in, there is nothing better than coming home to a hot, ready meal. Many people use slow cookers for soups and roasts, but did you know that the best London broils are also prepared in crock pots? Follow these directions to prepare a savory London broil that your family will love.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 pounds London Broil
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms, drained
  • chopped onion
  • paprika
  • garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • large slow cooker crockpot
  1. Step 1

Place the entire London broil into your slow cooker.

  2. Step 2

Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the London broil.

  3. Step 3

Pour the mushrooms (drained!) on top. You can chop them up if you don't like the chunky texture.

  4. Step 4

Add a pinch of paprika, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and garlic on top of your slow cooker concoction.

  5. Step 5

Place the lid on your slow cooker and set the temperature to low.

  6. Step 6

Cook for 6-8 hours until the meat is fork tender.

  7. Step 7

Serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite vegetable. Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • Avoid opening the slow cooker to check on your London broil's progress. Keep it covered for at least six full hours before checking the meat. It smells so good, you might be tempted to lift the lid and look at the scrumptious meal, but be patient and your meat will be incredibly tender!
  • Always exercise caution when opening the slow cooker's lid. The pot will be hot and a burst of steam is normal when you first open the lid.
