Nasal congestion is a very painful and tiring experience when feeling under the weather. There is nothing worse than feeling cloudy and enduring sinus pain that seems to not want to go away. Here are some easy steps that you can take to help get rid of nasal congestion.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 tea pot of water
  • 1-2 drops of eucalyptus or fennel or pine essential oils
  • 1 towel
  • 1 large bowl
  1. Step 1

    First you will boil 1 tea pot of water.

  2. Step 2

    You will then pour the water into a large bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Next you will add 1-2 drops of your choice of essential oil (eucalyptus, fennel or pine).

  4. Step 4

    Then you should place a towel over your head, and proceed to breath in the steam from the large bowl of hot water. You should do this for at least 15 minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Repeat every 4 - 6 hours to help get rid of your nasal congestion.

Tips & Warnings
  • Taking hot showers daily helps relieve nasal congestion.
  • Eating a lot of horseradish can help clear up nasal congestion.
