How to Buy Spanx, Girdles or other Underwear for Women
Recently I've been on a search for Spanx.
It recently became an adventure worthy of sharing on a local radio show.
Here are some tips I have learned on my adventures in shopping.

1
DETERMINE YOUR NEEDS for Spanx/girdle/lycra.
Are you wearing a dress? A pantsuit?
These items come in all different shapes and sizes. Some go right above your knees to under your breasts. Some go from the thighs over your belly.
Try on your outfit for a special event and determine your needs and shortcomings, and go SHOPPING.

2
FIND A PLACE THAT SELLS UNDERGARMENTS YOU NEED
You can access Spanx online, or at some stores.
BUT I would recommend trying on the undergarments. Take your best girlfriend with you so you can laugh. Also, make sure you trust your friend with good, honest advice.
A helpful sales lady would also be good. Tell her what you want, what your outfit looks like and where you need lifting.

3
TRY THE UNDERGARMENTS ON
This stuff is made of lycra, take your self in the dressing room and tug and pull. Make sure you can breathe, see if you look good.
This is where a sense of humor is helpful too!!!

MAKE YOUR PURCHASE!!!
Be prepared to look slimmer at your next event or function.
