How to Treat Head Lice Naturally

The worse thing in the world is when your child comes home from school, with a note stating they have head lice! All the cleaning, nit picking, it becomes tiring and aggravating. Not to mention how you have to torture your child with horrible chemical based shampoos to treat the head lice. This article gives a natural way to approach treatment, I would recommend to try this first before using chemical based shampoos on your child.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• 20 drops grapefruit-seed extract
• 1 cup of water
• 2/4 of shampoo (any kind)

1. 
    

   First you will combined the grapefruit-seed extract with the cup of water.

2. 
    

   Next you will mix grapefruit-seed solution with shampoo.

3. 
    

   You will then massage your child's head thoroughly through-out the hair and scalp.

4. 
    

   Once you have massaged for at least 5 minutes, you will then cover the child's head with a plastic cap (such as a shower cap).

5. Leave on for 20-25 minutes.

6. Rinse hair very well, and groom with a delousing comb.

7. Repeat if necessary.
