Things You'll Need:
- Firmware 2.0
-
Step 1
Flip the WLAN switch on the left side of your PSP. This is the switch that connects your PSP to a Wi-Fi network.
-
Step 2
Go to "Settings" on the main menu. Scroll to "Network Settings." Click on it.
-
Step 3
Click on "Infrastructure Mode" and create a new connection for your PSP. Create a name for the connection.
-
Step 4
Go to the "WLAN Setting" menu in "Network Settings." Click "Scan." All available Wi-Fi networks in the area will show up. Choose the one with the strongest signal and that you can access. Password-protected Wi-Fi networks won't work unless you know the password.
-
Step 5
Enter the password if the Wi-Fi network is password-protected. If not, click "None."
-
Step 6
Go to the "Address" setting. Click "Easy."
-
Step 7
Press X to save your settings.
-
Step 8
Click "Test Connection." The Wi-Fi network's information will load on your screen.
-
Step 9
Go to "Internet Browser" under the main menu. Click on it. After a few seconds, your PSP should load your browser and be connected to the Internet.
-
Step 10
Repeat Steps 1, 4, 8 and 9 anytime you want to use the Internet.
