How to Write Reviews for Amazon.com

Amazon.com is the premier Internet retailer for pretty much everything. One of Amazon's most useful applications is the user review feature, which allows you to look at what other people say about different products before you purchase them. Getting in on the action and writing product reviews is a great way to get involved with the Amazon community and help your fellow shoppers.

Instructions

1. Set up an Amazon.com account. An account is very easy to get; you'll just need to enter your e-mail address and choose a password to get started.

2. Log in and then decide what product you want to review. It doesn't necessarily have to be something you purchased from Amazon, but it needs to be something you own and know a lot about.

3. Search for the product on Amazon. Look through the search results and find the product you want to review and then click on it.

4. Scroll down to the bottom of the product page and find the tab that says "Write a Product Review"

5. Fill out the questionnaire and then write your review.

6. Click "submit" and your review will show up momentarily.

Tips & Warnings

• Although there is no set format for writing reviews on Amazon, you are expected to observe a few guidelines.

• Be honest. Don't knock something just because you hate the artist, company or author behind it.

• Don't tell long, personal stories. Keep it short and to the point.

• Use appropriate language.
