How to Make a Paper Plate Earth
Science brings about more craft ideas than any other school subject. The Earth is studied several times because it fits in with the astronomy sections as well as the nature section. The next time you are going to study the Earth you can take some time to create your own Earth out of paper plates.

3
Paint all of the land masses on the earth on the paper plate in green. Some will go on the front and some will go on the back. Just divide them up in the Western and Eastern Hemispheres and you will be able to see which land masses go on which side. Use a globe as your guide.
-
4
Paint all of the bodies of water in blue. This you can do without looking because it is all of the space on the paper plates that is not green.
-
5
Set the paper plate Earth out to dry.
-
6
Label each continent with a black marker.
-
7
Label the four oceans with a black marker.
