How to Make Holiday Spice Potpourri

The fall season is a beautiful time of year. The changing of the leaves with all its brilliant colors and all the holidays and festivities. This Holiday Spice Potpourri mix will add a spicy aroma in your home for all to enjoy this holiday season. It's easy to make and will make a great addition to the rest of your holiday decor.

Things You'll Need

• 1 1/2 cup lemom-scented geranium leaves
• 1 cup dried orange peel
• 1 cup dried lemon peel
• 3/4 cup lemon verbena leaves
• 3/4 cup broken cinnamon sticks
• 1/8 cup rosemary leaves
• 1/4 cup whole cloves
• 3/4 cup oak moss
• 6 bay leaves
• 7 drops bergamot oil
• 3 drops cinnamon oil
• Mixing bowl
• Wooden spoon
• Basket or container

Instructions

1. Mix together in the mixing bowl the lemon-scented geranium leaves, orange and lemon peels, lemon verbena leaves, cinnamon, rosemary, cloves, bay leaves, and the oak moss. Stir these with the wooden spoon.

2. Add into the potpourri mix the cinnamon and bergamot oils. Stir the mix again to make sure the oils are spread all around the potpourri.

3. Place the finished Holiday Spice Potpourri Mix into a container or a basket of your choice, and display it anywhere in your home.
