Things You'll Need:
- Diaper bag
- Storage area
- Baskets

Step 1
Choose a spot to store the majority of your cloth diapers. Some effective places are closets, bureaus, shelving units, changing tables and wardrobes. Closet systems also work well. An inexpensive alternative to the closet system is sweater shelves that hang from the closet rod.
-
Step 2
Separate your diapers into categories. This can be accomplished a few different ways. You could categorize by diaper type (i.e. fitteds, all-in-ones, prefolds, covers and wool) or diaper use type (i.e. daytime, night time, babysitter diapers). Try your own categories to see what works best for you.
-
Step 3
Pack your diaper bag first. Having ready the diapers that you use when you're out and about will help with your diaper organization. You will now also be able to see which diapers you have left to work with in your storage system.
-
Step 4
Designate a small basket for cloth wipes and other accessories. Using baskets is both functional and eye-appealing.
-
Step 5
Use a large basket for changes in other rooms. You may not always use the room where your diapers are stored for changing. Pack a basket with the diapers, wipes and accessories you will be using during the day. Now you can easily carry this basket from one room to another. This system also works well for a multi-level house.

Step 6
Fill in your main storage area with the remainder of the diapers. Use the categories as well as aesthetics to guide your arrangement. Even white pre-folds have a streamlined simplicity that lends itself to beauty.
