Stop the Serial Killer in "Neverwinter Nights"
BioWare

At the beginning of the PC role-playing game Neverwinter Nights, your main character will be stuck inside a walled city whose gates have been shut due to a spreading plague. During this plague, many people--like the serial killer named Loxar--have taken advantage of the chaos to commit vile deeds without fear of retribution. Killing Loxar will give you some decent experience points and help you build your reputation within the city.

Difficulty: Moderate

    No Man's Land

Travel to the area marked on your map as "No Man's Land," which is sandwiched between the center area of the city and the Blacklake District.

  3. Step 3

Speak with the man named Cendran, who will inform your group that a vicious half-Orc named Loxar has been regularly killing people in the area.

  4. Step 4
    Loxar's Head

    Loxar's Head

Walk through No Man's Land toward the Blacklake District until you find a dilapidated old tower. Go inside to find Loxar plotting his next murder. Defeat him in battle and then take his head as proof of the deed.

  5. Step 5

Return to Cendran and let him know that Loxar's reign of terror has come to an end to complete the quest.

Tips & Warnings
  • Killing Loxar is considered a good action, so it will shift your main character's alignment several points towards lawful good.
  • Loxar deals a lot of damage and has a high number of hit points, so make sure you have a companion with you who can either help defeat him in combat or at least heal you when you become wounded.
