Instructions

    • 1

Glue the pine cone to the bottle cap to provide a base for your tree. It is best to turn the bottle cap upside down so that the open side is facing upward so that the pine cone will fit in place better. Use a lot of glue to prevent your tree from falling over. Once the glue is dry you can move on.

    • 2

Spread out the newspaper outside. This will enable you to spray paint the pine cones thoroughly without endangering the inside of your house. Make sure you do not stand downwind from the pine cones or you will end up with spray paint all over you.

    • 3

Sprinkle glitter over the pine cones while the paint is still wet. This will make them look like they have a light frosting of snow. Once the paint is dry, you can move on.

    • 4

Push the round beads and the small silk flowers in between the "petals" of the pine cone. You may need to use a little bit of glue to hold them in place. They will look like brightly colored Christmas balls and other ornaments. Use more balls than flowers or your Christmas tree will start to look like a flower bush.

Glue the gold bow to the top of the tree. You may need to hold it in place for a few seconds until the glue sets up.

Tips & Warnings

  • Place your little trees on a large, flat mirror with some tealights to create a beautiful Christmas forest.
