Thoroughly cleanse the skin before using any Bare Escentuals product. Use existing cleansing products, or choose one from the BE line, following the instructions for the product being used. Rinse and pat dry before moving on to the next step.

Apply skin care products for the eye if desired. Be sure that the product is absorbed before applying Well Rested.

Dip an eyeliner brush lightly into Well Rested. Dab a bit of the product onto the inside corner of the eye. It will help to lighten and brighten the entire eye. Dab it at the outside corner of the eye to bring light to that area, which often tends to look a bit drab and washed out.

Use Well Rested as an eye shadow base. Swirl a concealer brush into the product to gather it deep into the brush. Tap the excess off into the product lid. Lightly brush Well Rested over the lid of the eye up to the brow bone. Then, apply eye shadow as desired.

Brush an eyelash brush across the excess product that was tapped in the product’s lid. Then, brush the micronized powder onto the eyelashes. It will work as a base product to help mascara adhere to the lashes. As a side benefit, it will thicken and slightly lengthen the lashes.

Dip a concealer brush into Well Rested, and apply it onto any blemishes that are not easily covered. It may be necessary to dab two or three coats onto the blemish before coverage is complete.

Use Well Rested as a highlighter. Brush above the cheekbones to make them look better defined. Apply on either side of the nose to sculpt it as desired. Brush along either side of the face to brighten the overall facial area.

Mix Well Rested in with any Bare Escentuals eye shadow to achieve a lighter, brighter shade of the color chosen. Another option is to brush the product over the eye shadow for a highlighted effect.

Mix Well Rested with Bare Minerals foundation to lighten it and bring a brightener to the facial area. Depending upon the amount used, it can lighten the product by as much at 50%.

Blend Well Rested with glimmers to achieve a lighter shading of the color, or just brush over the glimmer for a highlighted effect.
