How to View the Phone Memory on a Verizon LG Phone

Knowing how much memory you have on your Verizon LG cellphone is important because the memory is what allows the phone to run applications, store photos and videos and save ringtones. If you don’t have enough memory, you won’t be able to use the full capabilities of your phone. Luckily, it only takes a few steps to view how much memory you have left on your phone. Check your phone often to ensure you are not running low.

Instructions

1. Open phone and click the “Menu” button.

2. The center keypad above the numerical keys can click up, down, left and right. Click right until you see the “Settings & Tools” option.

3. Click “Memory.”

4. Click “Phone Memory.”

5. Click “Memory Usage.” You will see how much memory you have already used on your phone, as well as how much memory is left.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are running dangerously low on memory and don’t want to delete any applications, photos or videos, see if you phone accepts a memory card. If it does, there should be a slot on the side of the phone—the most common memory card accepted in cellphones are microSD cards.
