How to Behave With a Jealous Girlfriend

Women's intuition is vastly underrated. When a woman, especially a jealous woman, asks her boyfriend a question, she's not just looking for answers--she's paying attention to body language, the time it takes to reply, the extent of the answer and how honest the answer is. Usually a jealous girlfriend already knows the answer to a question before she's asked, but she's curious how her boyfriend will respond. Be careful with a jealous girlfriend. Make sure you can tolerate her personality, and do not be so macho as to underestimate her strength.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Be honest with her when you're about to do something you're positive she won't be fond of, such as visiting a stripper club, going out with female friends or going on vacation without her. She's going to drill you later if you look like you're hiding something from her. Let her know ahead of time, and if you really want to go, stand by your decision.

  2. Step 2

Do not cheat under any circumstances. This includes Internet flirting, dating outside of the relationship, sexual relationships and so forth. She will never trust you again, and she will remind you every single time she can that you have cheated on her already, therefore, she is entitled to become even more jealous than she was to begin with. If you see that the relationship is not working out or you have an interest in someone else, end the relationship before you are unfaithful.

  3. Step 3

Answer your phone when she calls. Of course there will be times when you're unavailable to speak, like at work, but if you're hanging out or not doing anything in particular, pick up the phone. If you can't talk long, just let her know you can't have a lengthy conversation, but let her know that her call matters to you.

  4. Step 4

Go on dates with her to places that both of you enjoy. One way to eliminate jealous moments is to make sure your significant other is having a good time. You will be on good footing by helping her to let loose some tension by doing something fun, and she will also be around you, knowing your location, what you're doing and who you're around.

  5. Step 5

Let her meet your female friends, female cousins and any other females that you regularly see. This way, if she has a gossiping friend who says she saw you out with a particular woman, you can respond to your girlfriend by saying, "I was with ________." It won't seem like such a big secret if your jealous girlfriend already knows your female friends. However, there may come a time when she wants you to release your female friends. Be ready to make a choice.

Tips & Warnings
  • If your jealous girlfriend is physical, terminate the relationship. A woman hitting a man for any reason is just as illegal and abusive as a man hitting a woman, and she can be arrested for that. Do not assume that you can handle her every time she decides to throw a punch or a slap because more than likely when she can't win the fight, she will find other ways to release revenge, such as lying and saying you hit her and it was self-defense.
