1
Place all the dominoes face down on the table and shuffle them. This pile is the bone yard or stock for drawing dominoes.
-
2
Have each player draw a hand of dominoes. If you have two players, each player draws seven dominoes. If you have three or four players, they each draw five dominoes. The players set the dominoes in their hands on their sides so that only they can see them.

3
Have the player with the highest double domino place it face up on the table. The player to the left (clockwise) takes the next turn.
-
4
Play a domino in your hand that matches the number of the domino on the board, if you can. Place the matching dominoes end to end. If you cannot play, draw dominoes from the bone yard until you can. The player to the left (clockwise) takes the next turn.
-
5
Continue playing in this manner, matching and drawing dominoes. If you have a double domino that matches, place the double domino sideways rather than end to end. This allows players to play on either end of the domino.
-
6
Pass your turn if there are no dominoes left in the bone yard and you cannot play any of the dominoes in your hand.
-
7
End the game when a player has used all of his dominoes, or when no one can play any tiles and the bone yard is empty.
-
8
Score the game by having everyone add up the number of dots on all the tiles they still have. The player with the lightest hand (lowest number of dots) wins all the points of the other players, minus the points in her own hand if any.
