Things You'll Need:

  • Vinegar

  1. Step 1

Applying vinegar in your natural health cycle is a natural remedy that can be used to assist in a number of common health ailments. For skin problems such as psoriasis or eczema, which can cause dry or irritated skin, you can use a diluted amount of organic vinegar. The best way to do this is to draw a warm bath and then add a few tablespoons to the water. It can also be used to treat flaky dandruff by using small amounts when washing your hair several times a week. For common acne and skin blemishes, vinegar can also act as a good preventative facial cleanser. To remove warts you can mix apple cider vinegar with glycerin in a lotion to help them dissolve.

  2. Step 2

Use vinegar to soothe the reaction from a bug bite or sting. This includes jellyfish stings. Put only a few dots around the affected sting area. Do not over saturate the sting areas with vinegar. The same can be used to reduce the pain and irritation from minor burns.

  3. Step 3

Use vinegar for internal illnesses as well as external injuries. If you are having a common cold or a bacterial infection such as sinitus or strep throat, you can use vinegar as part of your treatment. For these ailments you may try adding a third of a cup of vinegar to a common vaporizer so the evaporated vinegar can be inhaled and then rest in your nasal cavity.

  4. Step 4

Use vinegar for a common sore throat associated with a number of illnesses. You can use vinegar to calm the pain, similar to how you may use an antiseptic spray or salt water. Pour 1 1/2 tsp. of organic vinegar into a glass of warm, filtered water. Use it as a gargle, and even swallow it if you please. If you plan on swallowing the liquid you should use apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar added to water is a common remedy for all around good health. This method also works to reduce heart burn and acid reflux disorder. For the more casual stomach ache, you can use2 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar in water for relief.

  5. Step 5

Rinse your mouth with white vinegar to help with recurring bad breath. Make sure to always brush your teeth thoroughly after using the vinegar.
