When walking through a casino, there are too many slots to keep track of, but one of the more common ones are the Joker Poker video poker machines. These machines put some of the luck into player’s hands and allow them to win big jackpots by playing a normal 5-card draw game with a few jokers mixed in. Joker Poker is much like “Deuce’s Wild” but with a variety on payouts and number of wilds available. Joker Poker slot machines are easy to learn and offer you a chance at huge profits.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Insert your money into the slot machine. Joker Poker slot machines have different dominations, but the most popular and used machines at minimum 25 cent machines. These machines will take bills as low as $5.00 and $10.00.

  2. Step 2

    Choose the amount of credits you wish to play. You can bet from 1 to 5 credits in Joker Poker. The higher up you go, the more the bets will pay out. Press “Bet One” for each credit you want, or “Bet Max” to automatically bet 5 credits.

  3. Step 3

    Press the “Deal” button by touching the screen in the bottom right hand corner or by pressing the lit-up “Deal” button on the right side of the slot machine.

  4. Step 4

    Watch as you are dealt 5 cards. This is the first part of the hand. The minimum hand that pays out in Joker Poker is a pair of Kings. Keep this in mind when looking at the cards that are dealt to you.

  5. Step 5

    Hold the cards you want to keep by pressing them with your finger on the touch screen or by pressing the lit up “Hold” buttons on the slot machine panel. You should hold any pairs, Jokers, Aces, Kings, or one-card draws like flushes or straights.

  6. Step 6

    Press “Deal” once you have held everything you wish to keep. New cards will replace the cards you did not hold. The machine will now display whether you have won or not and award you with the chips.

  7. Step 7

    Repeat the bet, increase or lower your stakes, or cash-out from the machine. Most Joker Poker slot machines also come with other slot games if you want a little variety. These include regular video poker, deuces wild, and video keno.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember that in Joker Poker "Kings or Better" is the lowest payout, not Jacks like in regular video poker.
