It’s pretty easy to apply for a Texaco Gas Card. Gas cards can certainly come in handy when you are on the road travelling. To encourage customers to use gas cards, they now come with some nice perks such as roadside assistance, gasoline discounts and even ATM cash access.

How to Apply for a Texaco Gas Card

1. Be able to answer "yes" to the following three statements: Your credit history is clear of bankruptcy; you have not been denied credit by GE Money within the last 6 months; you are at least 18 years old.

2. Have your current demographic information available to you such as: address, phone numbers, social security number, driver’s license number and previous address (if less than two years in your current address).

3. Go to the Texaco/Chevron Gas Card website and apply.

4. If internet service is not available to you, you can call the toll free number 800-373-3277.

5. Decide whether you want the regular Credit Card or the Premium card which offers more advantages and is at an annual cost of $25.00 (subject to change).

6. Fill out the application and wait for a response.
