How to Knit Hand Warmers

These hand warmers have no thumb section. For ease in wearing, there is a thumb hole. Due to the simplicity of this pattern, these hand warmers can be made in an hour or so. The knitting process is not difficult at all. Choose any yarn to make them. Yarns with texture are fun and easy to use. If wool or a wool blend is used, there will likely be shrinkage when washing. Bulky yarn will make a thicker hand warmer, but a finer yarn may offer more flexibility with less warmth.

  • Don't leave knitting materials lying around your home. This can pose a safety hazard, especially in a home with children.
