Instructions

    • 1

Look at any teddy bear or a picture of one, and model your Diaper Bear Centerpiece after it. Roll a Size 1 diaper into a ball and wrap it with a 3-inch ribbon and double-sided tape to secure it. Set it aside.

    • 2

Take one diaper and roll it. Then place the rolled diaper into an open diaper and wrap both together. Keep adding diapers (as when making a rubber band ball) until it is the size of the head you want. Start rolling yet another diaper in the same manner, this time for the body size. Wrap each ball with the 3-inch ribbon and tape with double-sided tape. Set each aside.

    • 3

Roll only one diaper for each ear, one for each hand, and one for each foot. As before, wrap each with 3-inch ribbon, then tape with double-sided tape. Set them aside.

    • 4

Connect each part of the bear (each ball) by the double-sided ribbon (placed ribbon to ribbon) to have it stick and give the Diaper Bear its shape. Use the double-sided tape to stick on the wiggly eyes and add the eye glasses. Put the bib around the neck and use the pom poms for its nose.

Tips & Warnings

  • For a fatter bear, wrap two diapers together instead of using only one.

  • Create a larger head and body by using larger-sized diapers.

  • Wrap a soft receiving blanket around the bear as another gift.

  • Cover or hang other gifts around the bear, like a bottle or nipples.

  • Use your imagination and make it to your specifications, and stuff it with gifts of choice.
