How to Make a Trick-or-Treat Bag From Felt

Things You'll Need

  • 5 pieces of felt
  • Matching or contrasting yarn
  • Yarn needle
  • Decorations
  • Glue
  • 2 Pipe cleaners

Instructions

      Cut two of the pieces of felt to 8 by 8 inches. These will be the front and the back of the trick-or-treat bag.

      Cut two other pieces of felt to 8 by 4 inches. These will be the sides of the bag.

      Cut the last piece of felt to 4 by 8 inches. This will be the bottom of the bag.

      Thread the yarn needle. Place the pieces together and use a whip stitch to sew them together. Make sure that the lengths match up before sewing.

      Poke two holes a few inches apart at the top of each side of the bag with your yarn needle. Thread the pipe cleaners through for handles. Bend the ends around the holes so that they are secure.
