We all know what our Father's favorite things are, so why not give him everything? It takes less than an hour to assemble all his gifts into a gift basket that he's sure to love. Don't spend days this year thinking about what you're going to buy your Dad. Pick things up while you're already shopping and by Father's Day you'll have it all.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large basket
  • Framed photo of you and your Father
  • Gift card from his favorite home improvement store
  • Box or bag of his favorite snack
  • Book from his favorite author
  • Bottle of his favorite wine
  • Father's Day wrapping paper
  • Large bow
  • Sticky dots
  1. Step 1

Crumple up the Father's Day wrapping paper and put it in the bottom of the basket. If the basket is very deep, you may want to put some Styrofoam under the wrapping paper to elevate the gifts.

  2. Step 2

Arrange the gifts with the largest in the back. Work toward the front until you know how you want it all to be arranged. Make sure it is balanced and nothing will fall out over the edges.

  3. Step 3

Place a sticky dot between the gifts where they touch to hold them together. This will also prevent shifting and the clanking of glass. Use a sticky dot to hold the gift card on to the front of another gift so it doesn't get lost in the mix.

  4. Step 4

Place a big bow on the front of the basket. If it has wire to hold it on, then push one wire just under the rim of the basket to the inside. Pull the other wire over the top of the rim and twist it together. If it is a self stick bow then use a sticky dot. They will hold it on much better than the adhesive on the bow.

Tips & Warnings
  • If your Dad is really into a sport or a team, you can make up his basket with just items from the sport or team.
  • If he loves a hobby, fill the basket with items for his hobby.
  • Some Dad's love to read. Fill his basket with books and magazines.
