Even you won't believe you made this beautiful centerpiece yourself when you see it finished. And you really won't believe how little it cost. You can put this wonderful decoration together in an hour. It can dress up your Christmas dinner table or look great on the fireplace mantle. The balls will reflect the light of the candle and light up a whole room.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Small clear glass plate
  • Very small glass Christmas balls
  • 6-inch round by at least 12-inch tall glass vase or flute 12-inch taper candle
  • Artificial Christmas greens and flowers
  • Hot glue gun
  • Glue sticks
  1. Step 1

Use your hot glue and attach the vase or flute to the glass plate. You don't have to have a vase or flute that is a perfect cylinder; it can bow out in the middle or turn out at the top. Any type is fine as long as it is at least 12 inches tall.

  2. Step 2

Place the candle in the center and start putting in the tiny Christmas balls. The balls need to be glass so the candle doesn't catch them on fire. Using a silver candle with silver balls looks really nice, but you can use any color or many Christmas colors.

  3. Step 3

Fill the vase or flute about three-fourths of the way. This is enough to hold your candle in place, but not so much that you won't be able to burn the candle for a while.

  4. Step 4

Hot glue the greens around the bottom of the vase on the plate. Now glue on some flowers. Glue on a few of the balls in a group to one side nestled inside the greens.

  5. Step 5

Let the greens hang off the edges of the plate to give it a nice full look. Now you can light your candle.
