1
Measure your table and add 12 inches to the length and the width. Cut your red material to these measurements for your table cloth. Cut 2 pieces of 5 inch wide by 12 inch long red pieces for each napkin you will make. So if you are making 12 napkins you will need 24 red pieces. Cut 4 pieces of white material, the same size, for each napkin. 12 napkins = 48 pieces of white. Cut 1 piece of green material 24 inches long by 5 inches wide for each napkin.

2
Take your table cloth piece and fold over the edge 1/2 inch and iron. Fold it over 1/2 again and iron. Sew the hem all the way around. When you get to a corner place your needle down into the material. Pick up the foot and turn the material. Fold the corner hem in on an angle and continue to sew. Once you have the hem sewn in, the table cloth is done.

Sew a red piece and white piece of the napkin together on the long side. Then sew a white piece on the other side of the red piece. Now you should have white, red, white all in one piece. If you can tell the right side from the wrong side of the material, sew with the right sides together. If you were making 12 napkins, repeat until you have 24 pieces of white, red, white. Put 2 of these pieces together with the right sides facing each other and sew around the outside. Leave an opening at the bottom of the red strip. Once you have 12 napkins, turn them right side out. Hand sew the bottom closed.

Fold the green material long ways with the right sides of the material together. It should be 24 by 2 1/2. Iron the fold to make sure you sew the seam straight. Sew the full length of the 24 inches. Turn right side out. Fold the open ends in and machine stitch it across.

Gather the napkins at one end and tie the green strip around it into a bow. You can add some decoration to the green strips by lightly spraying with fabric spray and putting on a little gold glitter.
