Instructions

    • 1

Take the cinnamon, applesauce and glue and mix them together in the bowl to form the shape of a ball. Set this aside in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

    • 2

Once the 30 minutes is up, take the ball out from the fridge. Put some cinnamon onto the cutting board and place the ball on the board. Roll it out using the rolling pin until it's about 1/4 inch in thickness.

    • 3

Cut the rolled-out dough with the heart-shaped cookie cutters.

    • 4

At the top center of each of the hearts, take your straw and punch two holes side by side with just a little space in between each hole.

    • 5

Set the cookies on a cooling rack to dry. This takes around 2 days. They'll be dry once the color turns to a light brown.

    • 6

Take your ribbon and loop it through both of the holes to finish the garland. Your garland is now ready to hung and displayed in your home.
