Voting is one of our primary rights that we, as Americans, should not take lightly. There are always circumstances that may prevent us from being able to vote in person. Here is a great resource to use when voting absentee.

• your zip code
• your state
• make sure you are a registered voter

1. Go to: www.govoteabsentee.org

2. make sure you are a registered voter (if you are not, you can obtain information on this site to register)

3. Enter your zip code and state

4. request and absentee ballot right on this website

5. once you receive the ballot, fill it out and send it in (details will be enclosed with your ballot).
