A sub-tropical plant or mickey mouse shrub as commonly known grows the best in sunshin e and can grow in semi-shade as well.Follow a series of steps as below

Things You'll Need:

  • Ochna serrulata seeds or cutting
  • Mist unit
  • Fungicide
  • Garden implements
  • Water
  • Backyard space/ pot.
  1. Step 1
    Seeds to be sown
     
    Seeds to be sown

    Sow the seeds of Ochna serrulata that are available in plant nurseries, in a normal pit in the garden soil in your backyard or in a pot.Generally germination occurs in about 6 weeks.

  2. Step 2
    Mist unit
     
    Mist unit

    In case you go for a cutting, treat it with a rooting hormone.It will take about 4-6 weeks to develop roots. The mist unit temperature should be around 24 degree centigrade.

  3. Step 3
    Fungicide application
     
    Fungicide application

    Remove the cutting now with roots ready to be potted.Apply fungicide as a preventive measure. See the plant grow. Water it.
