Things You'll Need:
- pastry for a 9 inch pie
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups pecans, cut in half
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, whipped

Step 1
Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Line the pie pan with the pastry dough.
In a bowl, blend, the beaten eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup and vanilla. -
Step 2
Add the melted butter and blend well.
Stir in the pecans.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. -
Step 3
Bake for 10 minute.
Reduce heat to 350 degrees.
Bake for another 35 minutes. -
Step 4
Remove and cool on rack.
Serve with the whipped cream.
