How to Make An Easy Pecan Pie.

This is a delicious pie, especially topped with whipped cream.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • pastry for a 9 inch pie
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups pecans, cut in half
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, whipped
  1. Step 1

    Heat oven to 425 degrees.

    Line the pie pan with the pastry dough.

    In a bowl, blend, the beaten eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup and vanilla.

  2. Step 2

    Add the melted butter and blend well.

    Stir in the pecans.

    Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.

  3. Step 3

    Bake for 10 minute.

    Reduce heat to 350 degrees.

    Bake for another 35 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Remove and cool on rack.

    Serve with the whipped cream.

    Enjoy!
