Even if you are not an early morning person, you can learn to get up bright and early.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Alarm Clock
  • Exercise Plan
  1. Step 1

Choose an alarm clock that doesn't have a really annoying sound. Annoying sounds in the morning typically don't lead to a very pleasant day, nor do they make you want to wake up at 6 in the morning.

  2. Step 2

Before sleeping, get your gear ready for the morning time. It will make it a lot easier to get up if you know your stuff is all ready to go.

  3. Step 3

Don't leave yourself much time. If you plan on working out and showering before work and that only takes you 45 minutes, then only give yourself 50 minutes to do it. The longer you have to wait the more liekly you will go back to sleep.

  4. Step 4

Wake up at the same time every day even if you aren't going to get up to workout it still helps your body get up at that time and adapt to the situation.

  5. Step 5

Figure out what foods you are able to eat in the morning and try to eat healthy. Good foods to eat in the morning are cereal, fruit, toast, and yogurt, they all go down easily and are rathe filling.

  6. Step 6

Find some friends to work out with. It is much easier to get up and work out if you know someone else is counting on you and its easier to get through a gruesome work out.

  7. Step 7

Do different things, don't just go for a walk everyday. Maybe bike one day then walk another day so you get to see different things and it is like a new adventure everyday.

  8. Step 8

Create an exercise plan. If you have an exercise plan and you follow it, then it is much harder to skip a day. It is like having a school assignment, it's much harder to not do when its on paper.

Tips & Warnings
  • Have a good attitude about wanting to get up and exercise. Don't make it something that isn't fun.
  • See your doctor before exercising
