How to Nutty butter bars

Kids love peanut butter! make it a family treat!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 sticks of butter(or margarine)
  • 1 C of peanut butter(any)
  • 1 1/4 C graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 C powdered sugar
  • 12 oz pkg of chocolate chips(any size)
  • 13X9 pan
  1. Step 1

    *spray pan with Pam for baking*
    Melt margarine(or butter) and then ad the peanut butter,graham cracker crumbs, and sugar. Mix well. Press mixture into the bottom of the pan.

  2. Step 2

    Melt the chocolate chips, and spread over the peanut butter mixture.
    Chill this for about 15 to 20 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Take nutty butters out of the fridge, cut into squares and return to the fridge. When it's a little hard to the tough it's ready to be served!
    *for best results cut mixture before the chocolate gets hard!
    Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • You can put any type of chocolate chips on the top, or mix it up a bit and use butterscotch chips. Kids will love this semi healthy treat and so will you!
