Step 1
First thing first, you need to make sure that your call of duty skills are up to par. One of the main things is that you can aim well, change your position often, stay behind cover when possible, be good with guns from small machine guns to snipers.
-
Step 2
Choose your weapon based on the map that you are playing. If the map is tight quarters then you will be better off with an automatic assault rifle or a small machine gun. If the gun is longer range then you will be best off with a sniper. Once your sniper skills are good you will see why, even though they seem to suck noramlly. Otherwise you would be just as well off with an Assault rifle like the Ak-47 and M4 Carbine.
-
Step 3
The last thing that you need to do is change your style of play. If the person is aggressive then you need to not be aggressive and let them make mistakes. Even if they know you are in a building you could find cover to hide behind for when they come up to kill you. Then after killing them you must change your position, or they will surely kill you with a stun grenade / normal grenade combo. Switch to another area inside the building possibly, or a building that is close by.
