Things You'll Need:
-
Step 1
Air Freshener
Mix together 1 t. of baking soda and 3/4 c. of water in a spray bottle. Spritz in areas where you'd like an odor removed. -
Step 2
Grease Remover
Banish grease stains from clothes. Sprinkle some baking soda on the stain and rub with a wet scrub brush carefully. -
Step 3
Ant Stopper
Sprinkle some baking soda in areas where you want to stop ants (corners, cracks, etc.). It acts as a barrier and can even kill the ants. -
Step 4
Dog Dry Shampoo
Have a smelly dog but don't want to give him a bath. Sprinkle some baking soda on his coat and brush through. He'll be smelling better in no time! -
Step 5
Sting Stopper
Put a paste of water and baking soda over an insect sting or even a jellyfish sting. It kills the pain and draws out the poison. -
Step 6
Fresher Car
Sprinkle some baking soda throughout the interior upholstery. Use a small brush and get every surface. Vacuum a few hours later for a fresher-smelling vehicle.

on 10/2/2008 Good ideas! I never knew about the bee sting one! You can also occasionally mix a spoonful with your shampoo to remove hair product buildup.
