This is a versatile pastry dough that can be used for chicken pot pie, lemon chiffon pie, or even apple pie.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 C flour
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/3 c ice water
  • 3/4 C cold butter
  1. Step 1

    In a food processor, combine all the dry ingredients. Then add butter and pulse until mixture is the consistency of cornmeal.

  2. Step 2

    In a separate bowl, combine all the liquid ingredients. Slowly add them to the dry mixture in the food processor, until all ingredients are moist and combined.

  3. Step 3

    Divide pastry in half, form into balls, wrap them in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. This dough is then ready to use for any sweet or savory delight that you can dream up!
