Sometimes either the bride or groom won't have much family at the wedding. Maybe one has alot of family and the other does not. I recently went to a wedding, where the groom had only his father, and sister.
Read on to see how they made his mother a part of the celebration.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A nice sized picture of the person you wish to include.
  • Easel
  1. Step 1

First figure out, at what point you would like to bring in the picture
of the family member. Cover the picture with something when bringing it in.

  2. Step 2

Have someone walk down the aisle with the picture. Example: Father could
walk down with the mothers picture. There are alot of different ways to do this, just figure out which way works best for you.

  3. Step 3

Place the picture on the easel, and uncover it.

  4. Step 4

Be prepared!! There probably won't be a dry eye in the house. Some people might like to take pictures with their loved ones picture included in the photo. That way they would be included in your wedding photos also.

Tips & Warnings
  • This can be a really touching moment. Make sure you treat it like that.

on 1/24/2009 My sister had a very close friend that died just before her wedding. She had a seat for her at the reception with her picture. Everyone thought it was a neat way to honor her memory.

on 12/28/2008 We included my grandfather's name in our wedding programme. My husband and I loved him and we want him to be present in our special day as a memory of him.
