Carving Pumpkins Can Be A Fun And Rewarding Experience. In This Article You'll learn how to carve a pumpkin.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Atleast 1 Pumpkin
  • Carving Tools
  • A Big Knife
  • A Big Bowl
  • A Big Imagination
  1. Step 1

To begin you want to find a pumpkin that has a smooth face to carve. The smoother the skin on the pumpkin the easy it will be to carve into different shapes.

  2. Step 2

The next step you can do in one of two ways. You can either cut the top of the pumpkin open or you can cut the bottom of the pumpkin open with your big knife. Cutting it open on the bottom will make it easier to put a lite candle inside the pumpkin.

  3. Step 3

At this point you'll want to clean out all the seeds and the gooey stuff inside the pumpkin. Make sure you get it all out. It doesn't have to be perfect it just needs to be cleaned out.

  4. Step 4

Now the fun begins. You can either use a stencile if you have one or you can be imaginative and think up any design you like and draw it on the pumkin.

  5. Step 5

Now that you have you design how you want it you'll want to cut out the shapes and pieces that need to come out to reaveal your carved pumpkin design.

  6. Step 6

Finally add a lite candle inside for a lite up view of the design you carved. Enjoy your carved pumpkin during the halloween season and even takes pictures of it so you'll always remember the pumpkin you carved.
