treat a spider bite

Spider bites can be very irritating and itchy. Here are some tips to treat a spider bite.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First determine whether or not it is a spider bite. Whether or not you've seen the spider, check the bite and notice if you see puncture wounds and feel irritation. It will feel a lot itchier and more painful than a mosquito bite.

  2. Step 2

Wash the bite thoroughly with soap and water. Do this a couple times a day.

  3. Step 3

Put hydrocortisone cream on the bite to stop the itching.

  4. Step 4

DO NOT SCRATCH! Scratching will irritate the bite even more.

  5. Step 5

Keep an eye on the bite for a couple of days. If you notice it getting worse and feel pain, you will want to see a doctor. There are chances you could be allergic to the bite or the spider that bit you may be dangerous! Get checked out immediately!
