Getting Smoke and Nicotine stains off of walls can be tough. Here is a way to clean those awful stains.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A nicotine stained wall.
  • Greased Lightning
  • Several old towels or rags, wet and dry.
  • Rubber Gloves
  • Goggles (optional)
  1. Step 1

Open windows in room and make sure the room is well ventalated.

  2. Step 2

Place a towel along the baseboard of wall to be cleaned. This is to prevent the product from running onto baseboards and carpet. Put on gloves and optional goggles.

  3. Step 3

Spray Greased Lightning on walls, letting the product run the length of the wall. ( Here is where you see the brown stains from the nicotine run down the wall.)

  4. Step 4

Starting at the bottom of the sprayed wall, wipe the product off the walls. Work your way up using several rags. Rinse the rags in clean water. Repeat if necessary.

Tips & Warnings
  • Read the back of the bottle before using.
  • Depending on severity of stain, this may take more than one application, but I have found it to work great.
  • This also works on ceilings.
  • Make sure the area is well ventalated.
  • Wearing goggles is an option, but recomended to prevent spray and fumes from direct eye contact.
