Get glamorous with a few buttons and some glue.
This craft is fun for all girls. At slumber parties and birthday parties, girls of all ages love to make button jewelry !! What better way to have fun and make something really cool & you are recycling buttons. Also, great as homemade gifts, for a special Grandmother, Aunt,,Sister or Friend.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Buttons
  • Nontoxic glue
  • Thread
  • Elastic hair bands
  • Adjustable ring bases
  • Hair barrette bases
  • Sets of hoop earrings
  1. Step 1

    How to make a Barrette;;
    First, glue together buttons of diminishing sizes to create four stacks. Allow the stacks to dry. Then glue the stacks on top of barrette base. Allow to dry.

  2. Step 2

    How to make Rings;;
    First, glue together a stack of buttons of diminishing sizes. Allow to dry. Second, glue the stack to the top of an adjustable ring base. Allow to dry.

    How to make a Ponytail Holder;;
    First, take thread, make several loops though largest button and an elastic hair band. Tie knots in the thread onto the elastic band. Make sure the thread is tied tight. Glue other buttons on top of the biggest button, diminishing in size. Around 2 or 3 buttons are fine. Allow to dry. Start making ponytails...

  4. Step 4

    How to make earrings;;
    Use the holes in the buttons and insert the hoop earring though each one. You can use an assortment of buttons onto a set of hoops earrings. Great for homemade gifts.
    Try different colors together, like the colors of a Rainbow or Holiday colors- green and red for Christmas. Instant fun for all..

Tips & Warnings
  • Always make sure glue is nontoxic, I use Crafter's pick The Ultimate glue
  • Buttons and supplies can be found at most craft stores
