How to make an Apple Core Christmas Ornament

This is a great Christmas ornament that can be made by all. It makes a great Teacher's gift as well.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Wooden Spool
• Red acrylic paint
• Cream acrylic paint
• Brown acrylic paint
• Paintbrush
• Cinnamon Stick
• Silk leaf
• Wire
• Wire cutters
• Hot glue gun & glue
• Acrylic Sealer

1. Paint wooden spool cream, let dry. Paint top of spool red, let dry. Paint bottom of spool red, let dry. Paint three brown short brush strokes in center of "core" to look like seeds, let dry.

2. Using wire cutters, cut about a 3 1/2" - 4" piece of wire, bend and place inside center of core. Glue in place. Add cinnamon stick & leaf before glue dries.

3. Seal ornament with acrylic sealer and let dry.
