Things You'll Need:
- 1.5 lb. sirloin steak (1/2" thick)
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 beef bouillon
- 3 T. soy sauce
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 red pepper, cut up
- 1 green pepper, cut up
- 2 T. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 2 tomatoes, peeled and cup into eighths
- 3-4 cups of hot, cooked white rice

Step 1
Trim fat and bone from meat. Cut into 6 serving size pieces. Grease skillet with fat from meat. Sprinkle with 1/4 t. salt. Brown meat, turn and sprinkle with 1/4 t. salt. Push meat to side of skillet, add onion and cook until tender.

Add soy sauce, bullion, and garlic. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes or until meat is tender. Add peppers, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Blend cornstarch into water. Gradually stir mixture into skillet.

Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir one minute then add tomatoes and heat through. Serve over hot white rice.
Serves 4-6.
