Try this easy recipe for tomato vegetable soup.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Can of pureed tomatoes
  • One zucchini
  • Package of frozen corn
  • Fresh Basil
  • Garlic
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Red Pepper
  • Water
  1. Step 1

    Thinly slice one zucchini and a few cloves of garlic.

  2. Step 2

    Place your zucchini and garlic in a pot. Add salt and pepper.

  3. Step 3

    Add your corn to the same pot and add salt.

  4. Step 4
    Basil
    Basil

    Add a can of pureed tomatoes, fresh basil and some water. Boil until the vegetables are soft. Add salt and red pepper if desired.

Tips & Warnings
  • Each time you add salt add just enough to bring out the flavor of the vegetables.
  • Be sure to taste your soup to make sure the seasoning is correct.

on 4/15/2009 I agree with you. Homemade soup is better. I prefer soup without MSG in it. It is also less expensive to make than buying canned soup.

on 4/15/2009 I prefer homemade soup, since canned soup often has an incredible amount of salt. I make a lot and freeze some for another day. 5*
